Smith Hunting Co. offers some of the best trophy mule-deer and turkey hunting in some of the top producing regions and counties in Utah.  We have been guiding and hunting in the Western States for over 20 years.  Although we have hunting connections and relationships in several states, including Arizona, and New Mexico, we focus mainly on hunting Southern Utah and specialize in pursing big mule-deer bucks and Merriam and Rio Grande turkeys.   We have developed relationships with many private property owners that allow us to truly offer some of the finest hunting in the West - with breathtaking scenery.

Panguitch Lake Region

This large ranch sits on a perch looking down on the world. This ranch is great for mule deer and for turkeys. Hunters wanting to hunt this ranch need to be in shape and willing and able to pursue trophy animals across steep and rough terrain. This ranch allows several great glassing points. Hunters effective in long range shooting have the advantage on this ranch.

Zion Region

This ranch is arguably the prettiest ranch in the world! It boasts Zion National Park as its background. Surrounded by steep rock canyons, open plateaus, and rolling hills this ranch is a favorite of many and accommodates most hunters. Both mule deer and turkey are plentiful on this ranch.

Pine Valley Region

This ranch is very unique and appeals to archery hunters. It is located in thick cedar trees that act as a natural crossing area for both mule deer and turkeys. Hunters can enjoy close encounters from tree stands on this ranch.

Pine Valley Region

This ranch finds itself in an area widely known for trophy mule deer. There is a large population of turkeys on this property allowing multiple hunters to hunt simultaneously. The mule deer are local and more deer migrating into the ranch during the later hunts. This ranch is great for trophy mule deer hunting.
